A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy’s home roots.
The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this.
Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible.
You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery’s, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.

As well as our early bird menu we will also be running our express lunch menu with a choice of nine main course dishes at £9.95 per person ideal for those with a tight time table for lunch.
We also have a special offer in conjunction with the anniversary of Victor Hugos novel toilers of the sea about the people of Guernsey with £1 going to the life boat charity for every menu sold with a free glass of wine included for £12.95 running until the 10th of May.
We will be running our set fixed price menu Monday to Saturday early dinner between five forty five and six thirty you can have a choice of any two courses for only £10.00 and a third course at the extortionate price of £12.95. To keep it interesting we will make changes to this menu on a regular basis. This has proved very popular in the past so booking is advisable as places can be limited.
We will be taking a short break during the summer and are closing from the 24th of July until the 9th of August during which time we will have some routine service and repair work done sorry for the inconvenience this might cause to our customers.
Early Bird Menu
This is our current early bird menu (some dishes may change at short notice)
available from 5.45pm until 6.45pm Monday to Thursday
and until 6.30 pm Friday and Saturday
Baked potato wedges with Guernsey cheddar and a tomato salsa dip.
Homemade chicken liver pate with redcurrant jelly and toasted bread.
Leek and potato soup.
Beef tomato and mozzarella salad with basil dressing.
Pan seared chicken breast stuffed with spinach on champ
and a light white wine sauce.
Grilled Gammon steak with poached egg, chips and green beans.
Baked herb crusted cod with lemon butter on crushed new potatoes and spinach.
Roast vegetable risotto with parmesan crisps and dressed side salad.
Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream
Sticky toffee pudding with brown bread ice cream.
Baileys cheese cake.
A selection of cheese and biscuits with chutney.
The early bird menu is £10.00 for any two courses and £12.95 for all three.
